About

I’ve spent the majority of my career advocating for patients - through technology. Whether that be supporting scientific colleagues in order to deliver therapies, working to make genomic sequencing pipelines actionable, helping to reduce the time it takes to get the much-needed medication in patients’ hands quicker, or really any way I can contribute to making sure patients have what they need when they need it to make their lives more bearable.

I'm a Premier League fan, below-average guitar player, with a great sense of humor. I show up and try my best, love my friends and family, and rarely let people down. I happen to be pretty good at leading others and implementing the technology. From nine to five it’s learning all I can about Amazon Web Services, Configuration Management, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps.

My way of contributing in a positive way is through technology. It’s building the systems for others so they can do what they need to do their best work. I realize that technology can be intimidating and I enjoy helping others navigate the onslaught of technological change; explaining technically complex concepts in simple terms so that other, non-technical people can understand and make informed decisions. It’s about meeting people where they are, finding common ground, and helping them to be successful by playing my part to deliver the correct technology.

I have real conversations with really smart people to come up with the best solutions in order to help as many patients as we can. I find value in grabbing a coffee or beer with colleagues after work. Maybe share a really good meal, swapping remarkable stories and mutual experiences in order to bring the best solutions to bear.

I'm most successful when I work at places that are aligned with my core values and I don’t have time anymore for the superfluous. I’m choosing to spend my time and effort on pursuits I’m passionate about…and maybe, just maybe, have a little fun along the way.
